Send a formal notice in 10 minutes
Starting at $40, plus tax
Canada's most advanced legal technology saves you money.
No travel. No stress. We are here to help you.
If you are not satisfied with the final product, we will reimburse you.
At BidSettle, we aim to save you money. Only pay for what you need.
Before paying, you will have the option to select a legal review from a lawyer or paralegal. Some people will have doubts and they will appreciate being reassured by a professional. You will have the opportunity to get tips and strategies to be more effective.
Here are your choices:
AUTOMATED DEMAND LETTER – $40
Our smartform will generate the formal notice automatically and it will include all mandatory legal expressions.
DEMAND LETTER WITH LEGAL REVIEW – $90
A lawyer or paralegal will review your formal notice and provide you with their comments, similar to “post-it” notes. You will therefore have the opportunity to make changes to your letter before sending it to the other party.
DEMAND LETTER WITH LEGAL REVIEW + PHONE CALL – $140
A lawyer or paralegal will review your formal notice, provide you with their comments in the form of abbreviated notes and set up a telephone appointment with you to provide you with their comments and answer your legal questions.
* You send your formal notice yourself = free. We recommend, however, a method that allows you to obtain proof of receipt. For example, registered mail with Canada Post.
** BidSettle sends it for you by registered mail with Canada Post. This will cost $20 plus tax per recipient, no matter where they are, anywhere in Canada.
BidSettle’s services are cheaper because we use powerful technology to automate the process.
The sender must pay the transaction fee to BidSettle, plus applicable taxes. If there is more than one recipient, a charge of $20 will be added per additional recipient.
He will also have to pay legal fees, if he chooses one of the à la carte review services.
Here are the possibilities of total charges (without taxes) to be paid for by a user who sends his letter himself to a single recipient (see step 2 for more details about shipping).
If you have chosen the “registered mail” option, we will send your demand letter to the recipient(s) this way with Canada Post. You will receive bilingual notifications by email, directly from Canada Post. Keep the email that proves the delivery has been made!
If you’ve decided to send it yourself, we recommend a method that provides proof of receipt.
